Dear Murkdice,

My, what a delightful offering indeed! I shall be placing an order on behalf of the owner in all haste.

Kind regards,

The Butler.

I can only hope that they will result in the acquisition or production of more exhibits for the house...

What I think i would want from something like this is a book containing both the big hex map pages as well as smaller hex flower pages, in the same notebook. And a fillable table of contents and fillable index at the back. That way I can do big picture stuff in the big map pages, zoom in on the hex flower pages, and make my own reference system for the book.

If you want to be truly extra, you could use the mega hexbook as the regional overview, with general notes in that then a hexflower zine for every hex in the big one haha

Absolutely wonderful looking notebooks! This is basically my dream notebook, it’s just a shame the shipping to my country would be half the cost of the notebooks! Any chance there will be digital versions available in the future?

Someone else mentioned this on reddit! If there's enough interest I can probably put a pdf pack up on DriveThruRPG, and I can gauge from those who are interested what file format and page formats they need. Your interest is noted!

I would also like to express my interest in a PDF version. They look great!

You can add me as one more interested DIYer who would love to buy and print their own!

Hello! Your top 10 article reminded me of this. I’d still love to be able to purchase a digital copy of this - were you ever able to find it possible?

Murkdice's avatar

Hey Jason! Thanks for your interest :) unfortunately when we did our customer surveys we found that the price people would expect for a digital copy of these was too low for us to be able to sell digitally. Sorry that we don't have better news.

Ah, that’s too bad, but I can understand where you’re coming from. Thanks for the reply anyway!

How about hot pink for the next limited color?

Murkdice's avatar

It’s now under consideration!

I have several journals with graph paper grids or dots, but I never knew I NEEDED these! And the spiral bound one looks like it just might be the right size for a Traveller subsector! WOOT.

Murkdice's avatar

You read my mind! I think they would be great for running Traveller!

These look great and I just ordered two. That said, a 20 to 22 day wait for delivery, especially when paying for shipping, is ridiculous. Is that because you are using Lulu?

Murkdice's avatar

Hey Susan, thanks for your order! Because we are a small publisher and cannot fund a full print run, these products are print on demand (printed once an order is received). Therefore, the delivery time also includes the production of the notebooks. That does mean customers have to wait a bit longer, but it also means as a small publisher that we aren’t exposed to the risk of ordering 200+ copies of these books! Your experience is noted though, we’ll be sure to further scrutinise delivery times when we compare printing services moving forward.

Susan Beneville's avatar

As a small publisher, I totally understand. Not critical of you, I just think Lulu should do better.

Murkdice's avatar

I'll see if I can pass along some feedback to them!

nice. i was thinking of designing my own, and still might, because i find that traditional lined paper is too visually messy. blank or dot grids is better, or even just bullet points on the margins with blank space between.

I want all of them! 💜💜💜💜💜💜
